"In the social jungle of human existence, there is no feeling of being alive without a sense of identity." - Erik Erikson
The brand I’ve tried to build for myself as an artist and tradesman has (somewhat ironically) been one of my biggest challenges. I’m prone to reevaluating all of my work that’s over a few days old, which has made it hard for me to commit to a final iteration of my personal logo. However, here it is, along with the other ephemera I’ve built in service of my own ego.
I always knew I wanted a custom monogram for personal use, so I decided to let that spill over into my professional persona. I started by filling up a few pages with sketches of my initials until I arrived at the interlocking design that I ended up using. It felt old-school, regal, collegiate, and memorable.
