ILLUSTRATION
Pure artistic expression, made to order. Your specific idea, fabricated and assembled from scratch in an aesthetically pleasing way. Or a loose boundary you’ve given me the freedom to operate within. My illustration work often goes hand-in-hand with graphic design.
THE PROCESS
Once you’ve pitched an idea to me and we’ve decided to work together, we’ll have a meeting to talk about your vision and the requirements for the project. I’ll assess the amount of work and send you a price. Once a price has been agreed upon, a contract will be created and signed, and a fifty-percent deposit will be paid. Work will now begin. Depending upon the project, either one or multiple concepts will be shown within an agreed-upon timeframe. We’ll meet to discuss them, and go down the road that feels right. Up to two rounds of revisions later, the work is finished and delivered in all the necessary formats for usage and the remaining fifty-percent is paid. Sometimes more rounds of whittling-down are needed to bring the work to where it needs to be. The project will continue, albeit with additional charges incurred for each further revision.
Work is priced by how many hours it will take, and also by the intended use of the finished product. Prices are determined individually for each project. To see my baseline for different types of work, reach out on the contact page and request a price list.
